ONIC New Mobile Services Operator (PTA Clarification)

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has issued a press release regarding ONIC Digital Telecom which states that there is a public and social media users about a new operator launching mobile services under the name of ONIC. Vali has been informed about recent misunderstandings. It has been clarified by PTA that no new operator has yet been granted cellular license for mobile services in Pakistan.

Pak Telecom already owns the Ufone brand and plans to launch a new product called ONIC to cater to the digital segment in the market. Which will provide digital services to all kinds of users.

ONIC is in active communication with PTML to start its services. For this, PTA has advised PTM to Fulfill all their necessary requirements.
